The dispute for the legendary trademarks of 1060s “Stolichnaya” and “Moskovskaya” enters into a hot phase with the victory of Legelata in the claim for invalidation of registration of such trademarks under the name of the right holders.
Legelata presents the claim on behalf of its client Soyuzplodoimport of Russia – the legal successor of Soviet era legendary trademarks in Russia. The Administrative Court of appeal has compelled the Administrative Court of First Instance of Yerevan to consider legal questions of validity of registration of such trademarks by the Agency of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Economy of RA.
